99 Songs is an emotional romantic musical drama movie which is written and produced by Oscar winning famous composer A R Rahman. 99 Songs movie is directed By Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and its music is again composed by A.R. Rahman.

Ehan Bhat is making debut with 99 Songs and performing the lead role of Jay. Edilsy Vargas is playing love interest of Jay as Sophie. Ranjit Barot is performing as Sanjay Singhania who is father of Sophie. Tenzin Dalha playing role of Polo, who is a best friend of Jay in this film. Sheela i.e. Jazz queen of Shillong's role is performed by ever beautiful Lisa Ray. Manisha Koirala is performing a small role in rehab center who motivates Jay to restart his journey. Warina Hussain is playing a special role of Jay's mother from where Jay got his music skills. Diwakar Pundir is Jay's Father. Ashwath Bhatt is CM Prabhakar. Chaitnya Sharma is Ricky Punjabi. Young cute Jay's role is performed by Neel Tyagi.

One of the famous dialogue from movie is: "Music iss duniya ka ek aakhri bacha hua jaadu hai" or in English: "Music is the last surviving magic in the world".
